Dear You,
You're sitting there, all alone at your desk, exhausted from a day chasing the kids, the dog, the spouse, the cat and the hamster...you've finally been able to sit down after a long day of corralling life and now have an opportunity to gaze at your computer screen for a while before its time to snuggle up cozy in bed and relax...somehow, you've stumbled across Love, Nikki: and i for one am glad you're here! As you see there isn't much yet and i hope with time this will morph into something much more entertaining, but for now I'm only gonna give ya a bit of me. My name is Nikki, i enjoy long walks on sand less beaches, thunderstorms, s-mores, and sleep. that's about it!
ok...ok, there HAS to be more than that to draw ya in you say? well lets try this... i am the proud mother of 1 child, a girl named Haleigh, she is my favorite daughter in the whole world! Together we create a plethora of chaos and fun and make everything we do an adventure! From conquering the ever present shiny things ( excuse me for a moment, OOOH SHINY!) to tying shoes, or skinned knees, riding a bike random trips to DC or Indiana, battling the homework monster or even boys. YUP boys. my 8 year old daughter is growing up, and try as i might she wont stop. even with the threat of a swift beating.
When im not preoccupied with trivial things like children, i work full time and maintain a VERY happy relationship with my boyfriend...who shall be referred to from here on out as such, "boyfriend" (mainly because i know how much he likes it), who also has 2 children, and i'm crazy about all of them.
My roommate is the one who turned me on to this blogging idea, she has 2 kids who can be wild and crazy but are slowly teaching me patience and a new sense of family, they are good hearted kids with a bit of a hyper streak that can wear me out!!
I know it sounds all warm and fuzzy but I've led a fairly chaotic life, and have somehow managed to keep my head on pretty straight, be it from God or Karma or just plain old Luck i may never know, but jump on in and lets take a step in a new direction and see where it takes us!!
